Update: And we have a winner, though it took a record 33 minutes. No word if that mess is still out back, but there's a nice Christmas tree out front these days.

building next to the gas station at baron cameron and rt 7.
ReplyDelete... i think it's called sam's farm market
ReplyDeleteHouse on Lake Thoreau
ReplyDeleteIs it still called Gaelic Gardens?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Meadows Farms off Route 7, but isn't that considered Herndon?
ReplyDeleteI think it's the back lot behind La Madeleine, littered with the carcasses of geese overstuffed with foie gras fodder or whatever the French kids call it these days. Does anyone still go there? I never hear anyone mention any of their locations. (I like the place: the tomato basil soup was not bad at all. No idea if they actually serve goose or duck.)
ReplyDeleteDing ding ding ding! We have a winner, two actually. Anon 12:58 is right; it's the building just before the southwest corner of Baron Cameron and Rt. 7. And my other half is pretty certain it is a farmers market, as Anon 1:02 said.
ReplyDeleteGive those two anons a job with the National Reconnaissance Office and I bet THEY'LL find the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq!
Eye in the Sky is correct -- the first guess was the right one. And it's still a farmer's market of some sort; they have a nice Christmas tree out front. Buicks for everyone!
ReplyDeletefortunately or unfortunately, i am both anon 1 & 2, so lay to rest your fears of a buick tug-of-war.
ReplyDeleteand i DO know where the WMDs are.
