What is Mauve? Reston Man Wins Second Night on Jeopardy

Dan the man does it again! After a seesaw struggle in both rounds, he enters Final Jeopardy with a $2,000 lead over his nearest rival. All three contestants correctly answer that of all countries where Spanish is the official language, Venezuela is the last alphabetically. Dan cannot be caught and ends the day with $19,201 in winnings, bringing his two-day total to an impressive $40,202. Viva Danilo!

And he wasn't even wearing a lucky russet brown shirt...rather something blue-gray in tone.
Fingers crossed for another victory--and a DRB-approved wardrobe choice--on Day 3.

    Maureen: "Alex, I'll take DRB Violations for $600."

    Alex: "Red, white, and blue. Steve?"

    Steve: "What are the DRB-authorized colors of the American flag?"

    Alex: "Sorry, wrong answer. Dan?"

    Dan: "What color mulch, stone, and tarps, respectively, are banned by the DRB?"

    Alex: Yes! Go again, Dan"

    Dan: "Macaroni Grill Entrees for $800."

    Alex: "Contains 2,950 calories. Dan?"

    Dan: "What is the diet entree at the Macaroni Grill?"

    Alex: "Correct!"

    Dan: "I'll take earth-toned hovels for $600."

    Alex: "Dudes with clipboards. Maureen?"

    Maureen: "Who checks compliance with covenants?"

    Alex: "Oh, sorry Maureen, wrong answer! Dan?"

    Dan: "Who keeps a running tally of all the foxy ladies at Jacksons on Friday nights?"

    Alex: "Correct."

    Approved exterior color ("something blue gray") for Dan Jensen's button-down shirt on his 2nd televised appearance on Jeopardy as in conformance with the Design Review Board-approved color palette for siding in The Wharf cluster.

    Grrr, 10:42. You have no honor. The only approved colors for a true warrior are red or gold with a metal sash. Blue Gray is Not Safe for Worf.

    He also said he works at a "sports restaurant" during the interview section.

    Is it the one over where Whole Foods and Five Guys is or is there another one it could be?

    I have it on good authority -- from the Oracle at Delphi, no less -- that Dan Jensen will continue to win until the day his shirt is no longer a DRB-approved color. So, Dan, please, no lime green, pink, orange, turquoise, or purple shirt.

    Poetic justice will be served.

    Blue-gray ("Storm Cloud", formerly "Heritage Blue") is also a DRB-approved color at Hillcrest Cluster. Go Dan!
