Reston: The Magazine Provides the Usual Covenant-Themed Diversions
Uniformed federal agents recently delivered our copy of Reston: The Magazine, and as usual, it didn't disappoint. Why play Words With Friends on a tiny phone screen when you can search for words like "full DRB" and "covenants" on glorious black-and-white coated glossy paper?
Of course, if you find word games tedious, you can always enjoy amusing illustrations like this graphical depiction of the DRB review process:
Kind of like the cartoons in the New Yorker, only with fewer talking dogs and more potential to have to replace your fancy new door with something in a stylish hue of battleship gray, the end.

DRB-- such a broken system.
ReplyDeleteIt's OK to do nothing to your 70's vintage home, but when you want to modernize it and bring it up to date -- you have to go through this long tedious process.
I wished the DRB would go away. Reston should become a city ASAP
