Given the recent unpleasantness about the direction of Metro-oriented development in our earth-toned community, we thought we'd bring the room down a bit today. Courtesy of Confidential Restonian Operative "Rupert," please to be enjoying this aerial footage of the bollardy wonderland rising next to the Wiehle Avenue Metro station, as filmed by some kind of droney plaything -- which seem to be popping up more and more often these days. With the soothing new age music playing in the background, risers and footers have never been more calming, the end.

These are just a few of the buena vistas that residents of Reston Station's high rise will have of the toll road and surrounding environs. How much $ for these less-than-spectacular views?
ReplyDeleteAnd just think, WallyWorld in Tyson's recently opened. IN just a few short months, the teeming throngs of Restonians can take the Metro there in order to stock up on their cheap, Chinese slave-labor goods.
ReplyDelete...and then store that lead-contaminated crap in all those awesome receptacles they can buy at The Container Store.
DeleteLife in Reston just gets better and better.
Hey Restonian,
ReplyDeleteIt sure is funny to keep running with your old jokes ad nauseum.
But instead of a rehash of your left over comedy stylings, why don't you post about the recent crime of robbery and assault on the pathways, the massive outpouring of community support for the victim, or the tragic death of the person who fell from Heron house?
I guess yet another ebola or macaroni grill post is easier.
