Please to be enjoying this logo celebrating our favorite earth-toned community's 50th anniversary. Understated, classy, clean, a bit of the old and a bit of the new -- we (seriously) like it.
We're not exactly graphic designers by trade, but to commemorate the year Metro (probably) makes it to Reston, we'd make one teensy tiny addition to make the logo "pop," as graphic designers almost certainly never say:
You're welcome.

How can the RA approve of a logo that isn't Earth-toned? Will they fine themselves for this?
ReplyDeleteWhy would you use an outline of a toilet brush as a symbol for Reston? Maybe that's because overpopulation is putting Reston in the crapper.
ReplyDeleteStill, I was kind of expecting something with an olive drab background with a big red star in the middle.
Hehehe, a rather accurate observation. The three seashells/fanciful concrete bollards are a nice fit.
DeleteVery meh. Obviously RA was running on a low budget and they used Microsoft Paint?
ReplyDeleteRestonian did a better job.
