Set the controls of the Earth-Toned Wayback Machine to 1974, where through the magic of Super 8 and the YouTubes, we get to see the excitement of two kids visiting what was then apparently called the "Pet-a-Pet Farm Park." It was a more innocent era, decades before the recent unpleasantness at the same site.
Marvel as "Jim and David" sit atop a giant turtle! Watch a buffalo work on a salt lick! There's a lion! And a sad-eyed chimp being taunted with a can of soda!
But most amazing of all:
Yep, it's the park before it was surrounded by vinyl-clad McMansions, the end.
Shout-out to Confidential Restonian Operative "Jon" for bringing this to our attention.
