Who says Reston is dull? A Ring Road resident posted video of a recent car chase that apparently went by his house twice (which makes sense, given that Ring Road is... a ring) before police apparently rammed the car, which wound up in someone's yard.
Our BFFs at Reston Now tried to get information about the chase from police, but, as often happens, they didn't have much to say about it. Nothing to see here folks, move along!

And this happened in sought-after North Reston? Tsk tsk.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that would have made this video better is if Tara the hero cat (the one that saved the 4-year old boy being attacked by a dog) came charging out of nowhere and rammed the speeding car into the yard.
I think you'd have to call it Central Reston- not North of Baron Cameron.
DeleteBad boys, bad boys
ReplyDeleteWhatcha gonna do?
Put mulch in your front yard and paint your house blue
Bad boys, bad boys
Whatcha gonna do?
When the boys in the DRB
Put a lien on you?
BAD BOYS
This episode is dedicated to the members of covenants enforcement.
The suspect was obviously a degenerate from South Reston who comes to our glorious neighborhood to steal from the haves. Please stay on your side of the toll road, losers.
ReplyDeletenot South Reston -- heard it was someone from McLean near Dick Cheney's house.
DeleteWhat you got against South Reston. Say something like that again and I'm going to throw colored mulch in your plants and call DRB on you.
ReplyDeleteIf this was taken around Memorial Day, it could have been a heroin bust I had heard from residents off Ring Road
ReplyDeletetoo many white people with too much time on their hands....the cops have to ram a car to get it to stop...are local residents worried about the dangers of an ensuing gun battle or crazy person running thru the neighborhood trying to escape? no...let's get the kids and walk over to see what is going on...lol.. these are the same people that slow down on the beltway at rush hour to gawk at a disabled car on the shoulder making everyone else have to slam on their brakes....twas curiosity that killed the cat.
ReplyDeleteI state now and for the record that I was never near that place at the given time.
ReplyDeleteOther than the time last year that lightning hit a tree and the fire department responded with 14 (yes, fourteen) vehicles, this is the most exciting thing that has happened since I have lived off Ring Rd, and what is more annoying is that my wife and I heard the noise and determined that it was "probably a mistake".
ReplyDeleteSo who's responsible now for the property damage? The police? The criminal? The county?
