Now that we're in the thick of fall, our thoughts turn to crisp nights, pumpkins, and terrifying genetic freaks fun costumes. This photo of the long-lamented Reston Farm Market must date back to the early to mid 1980s, given the sign promoting the unlicensed use of a Star Wars character to entice impressionable youngsters to the otherwise generic pumpkin patch fun.
No word if the gourd-wearing gentleman is the foul-mouthed proprietor who caused such a stir among the church ladies of nearby Vienna, the end.
