Reston's RDGLDGRN Has New Album, Same DRB-Taunting Name

Reston's own (legitimately awesome) band with the in-vogue vowel-free, DRB-flaunting name, RDGLDGRN, has released its second album. You can watch the music video above, as the kids today do on their MTV whazzitcalled, iPhones. It has all kinds of references to the Goonies and old-school videogames and a variety of other GenX ephemera. Plus it's got a good beat and you can dance to it.

RDGLDGRN is currently on a world tour, which while including Germany and Canada, somehow managed to overlook Reston (the "civic plaza" at the Metro station must have been booked that night). The closest they'll get on Dec. 18 is some place called "U Street" in DC, which must be one of those nice new town center retail experiences all the kids love these days, the end.
